I'm a graphic designer specialised in information communication, based in London. I currently work at Indigo Planning, award winning planning consultancy.

My latest main project was leading the design of the A-Z of London Planning, Indigo's flagship research edition that provides a visual overview of the demographic, socio-economic and planning traits that define each of the 32 Boroughs and the GLA. It was longlisted for the Information is Beautiful Awards 2018, in the category "Maps, Places & Spaces".

Before Indigo, I produced information communication for public transport and the built environment, as well as non-fiction illustration for books. I spent some time in Thomas.Matthews, award winning communication design agency, as well as the insanely creative Duffy London studio. Back in Portugal I worked as a freelancer for Porto Editora (Oporto), Museum of Design and Fashion (Lisbon) and Department of Oceanography of the University of the Azores.

My background is in space planning - I graduated in Environment Production Design (IADE, Lisbon) and have a master's degree in Interior Conservation in Rehabilitation (ESAD/FRESS, Lisbon), but I'm passionate about the application of graphics, illustration and information communication both in built and digital environments.
